Mini Triathlete??

The training's been hard these past 2 months. Swimming's been a heck of a challenging thing to learn! Now add biking and nonstop running to that...

I am proud to report that I just finished my first mini triathlon yesterday. Oh YEAH!

250 yards in the pool, followed by 8 miles on the bike and 1.5 mile run. It was an amazing experience. Lots of support from friends and other triathletes. I think I'm hooked.


Spring has been good to us in Colorado. The weather has warmed up quite a bit, and now we're all bracing ourselves for the summer vacation... School is almost out for the year... Kids are going to be at home 24/7... :O

As far as art goes...

I'm slowly working on Beyond The Broken Gate - I've added some more to the background. Multiple trees and maybe a little surprise...

I have a deadline to finish this, but once it's done, I will post it.

Thanks Michelle! I don't know if I'm fit enough to chase after my kids... :D

I finally put the 'surprise' in. It isn't actually a surprise. I'm not sure if you remember a while back, that some AP'ers were talking about Transformers being in the drawing-- well, I kind of added that in the background, but it's camouflaged in the trees.... We'll see how that goes...

I'm giving myself about a week to finish this one....

Robert, you're a hoot! I'm hoping to have more time after May, but we'll see. I have this feeling that it won't be until August when I can really be totally free to do more DA and AP stuff.... Hmmmm...
